Lot 934: A Trio of Framed Photographic Prints Depicting NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Mission Imagery
A collection of three contemporary photographic prints, likely digital pigment prints or C-prints, featuring iconic imagery from the NASA Apollo 11 lunar landing mission. The subjects comprise a view of the Lunar Module Eagle on the moon’s surface, the celebrated full-length portrait of astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and a composite image featuring an astronaut and the Lunar Module with the Earth visible in the black lunar sky. Two of the photographs are housed in modern, square-profile black frames, while the third is in a light-toned natural wood frame. No signatures, edition numbers, or official NASA press serial numbers are visible on the prints. A small white auction house sticker marked 934 is present on the top edge of the central black frame. These items appear to be modern decorative reproductions rather than vintage period press photographs.
