Lot 944: A Commemorative Boxed Set of Photographic Prints Celebrating the Tercentenary of Ascot Racecourse
This lot comprises a commemorative presentation boxed set of photographic prints issued to celebrate the 300th anniversary (tercentenary) of Ascot Racecourse, founded by Queen Anne in 1711. The set was released circa 2011 and is housed in a navy blue presentation box. It includes an introductory commemorative letter from The Trustees of the Ascot Authority on cream-coloured cardstock, which features the Ascot 300 Years logo and official crown emblem. A collection of large-format photographic prints is included, capturing various eras and aspects of the racecourse.
