Lot 492: A Trio of Mid-20th Century English Green Glazed Earthenware Basket-Weave Bowls
A trio of circular earthenware bowls of English manufacture. Each bowl features a moulded basket-weave or wicker texture to the exterior and a scalloped, wavy rim. The bowls are finished in a mottled, variegated light green glaze, characteristic of mid-century British garden-ware. The base of one bowl bears impressed marks including ENGLAND arranged in a curve above the pattern number 306, with a small indistinct impressed character located between these two lines.
