Lot 658: A collection of five Royal Worcester fine bone china items in the Torquay White Rose pattern
This collection of five Royal Worcester fine bone china items is decorated in the Torquay pattern, frequently referred to as White Rose. The group consists of two oval napkin rings and three small circular dishes, likely intended as pin dishes or butter pats. The decoration features a central cream-coloured rose with a soft pink blush, surrounded by small white flowers and foliage in shades of brown and green. The rims are finished with a hand-applied gilt line. Each item features a clear black factory backstamp on the underside with a crown above a circular device containing the number 51, identifying the pieces as being manufactured in 1951. The mark also includes the text Royal Worcester, Fine Bone China, and England.
