Lot 760: A Tudor Revival style dark oak glazed bookcase
An early-to-mid 20th-century Tudor Revival style dark oak glazed bookcase of one-piece construction. The unit features a pair of doors, each inset with leaded glass panels in a decorative geometric pattern. The doors open to reveal an interior with pre-drilled holes for adjustable shelving, although the shelves are currently absent. Constructed from oak with a dark stained finish, the piece is typical of mid-century English manufacturers such as Wood Bros (Old Charm) or Jaycee. It is supported by a simple, solid plinth base. The doors are fitted with brass-tone hinges and a simple internal catch mechanism. A small green sticker is located on the interior top-right corner, but the characters are not legible.
