Lot 854: Mid-20th Century Tilt-Top Mahogany Occasional Table with Floral Decoration
A small occasional table in the Georgian revival style, dating from the mid-20th century. The piece is constructed from mahogany-stained hardwood. It features a rectangular tilt-top with a moulded edge, decorated to the centre with a polychrome floral basket transfer. The top is hinged and sits upon a trestle-style base comprising two upright supports joined by a cross-stretcher, ending in four shaped bracket feet. A lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms (Lot 854) is present on the top surface.
