A vintage tub-style armchair featuring a high wrap-around back with two distinctive circular cut-out apertures. The chair is constructed from natural wicker woven over a bent rattan frame, finished with decorative braided wicker trim along the upper and lower edges. It stands on four splayed rattan legs reinforced with cross-stretchers. The chair is complete with a loose, removable seat cushion upholstered in a light-coloured textured fabric. No maker marks are visible. The chair bears an auction lot sticker numbered 938 on the reverse.
