Lot 972: Late 20th-century teak-effect low display cabinet with expanding top
A late 20th-century low display cabinet or sideboard of one-piece construction, finished in a teak wood-effect veneer. The design features a split-top surface with a central seam and hinge, intended for use as an expanding dry bar or serving area. The frontage is divided into two sections: the left side consists of a single drawer lined with green baize above a solid panelled cupboard door; the right side contains a glazed door with a decoratively shaped upper rail, opening to a single internal shelf. The unit is fitted with antiqued brass-tone swan-neck drop handles and is supported by a continuous plinth base.
