Lot 1009: A Collection of Assorted Framed Wall Mirrors and Decorative Prints
This collection comprises an assortment of five framed wall items including a mirror and various decorative prints. The lot features a rectangular wall mirror set within a moulded frame decorated with a floral pattern in shades of blue, green, and yellow, finished with a gilt-effect inner slip. Included is a framed colour print after William Kay Blacklock (1872-1924) titled Going to the Beach, based on the artist’s 1913 original. This print is presented in a gilt-effect fluted frame with a cream-coloured mount and features the printed inscription W. KAY BLACKLOCK 1913 to the upper right corner. The collection also contains a large-format landscape print depicting a coastal fishing port and harbour scene with hillside housing, possibly Brixham, housed in a simple light-toned wooden frame with a wide white mount. Further items include a contemporary decorative botanical print in blue tones with a multi-layered mount in pink and burgundy within a textured cream frame, and a silvered or pale gold-toned multi-aperture photograph frame with three openings.
