Philip D. Hawkins, ‘Sunshine And Steam’. This commemorative print depicts the Great Western Railway (GWR) King Class locomotive No. 6023 ‘King Edward II’ hauling the ‘Cornish Riviera Express’ through a station. The work is signed in the plate ‘Philip D. Hawkins’ to the lower right corner. The lower margin features printed text stating ‘Specially commissioned by BBC Radio Devon Radio Bristol Radio Cornwall’.
