Lot 211: An Industrial Sewing Machine Power Stand and a Group of Accessories
This lot comprises an industrial sewing machine power stand and a group of accessories. The assembly includes a clutch motor labelled Express Mk.3A, model NS-414, with technical specifications including 1/3 HP and 1450 RPM. The motor casing identifies Phillims Sewing Machines of London as the sole agents for the UK and Eire. A matching Express Mk.3A power switch unit with on and off buttons is attached to the frame. The workstation consists of a laminate-topped table mounted on a tubular metal frame, featuring a heavy, perforated metal foot pedal. An integrated measuring rule marked Morris & Ingram is inset into the front edge of the table. A separate group of components included in a cardboard box contains a grey metal belt guard marked Singer, an adjustable task lamp, a metal thread spool stand, and various electrical wires.
