Lot 260: A Collection of Music Media Including Compact Discs, Audio Cassettes, and Recordable DVDs
A collection of assorted music media comprising audio cassette tapes, compact discs (CDs), and recordable DVD discs. The lot features a range of popular and classical artists from the late 20th century. Pre-recorded cassettes include The Best of Hooked on Classics performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Sixties Mania, Chris de Burgh’s Spark to a Flame, and Andrea Bocelli’s Viaggio Italiano, alongside various titles by James Last and Katherine Jenkins. Compact discs in jewel cases include albums by George Michael, Mariah Carey, The Beatles, Freddie Mercury, The Bee Gees, and Michael Buble, as well as multiple titles by Andrea Bocelli and various compilations such as The Movies Greatest Love Songs. The collection also contains a series of home-recorded cassette tapes with handwritten labels, including one marked Pink Floyd The Wall. Several Maxell recordable DVD+R and DVD+RW discs in slimline cases are present. The items are housed in two cardboard boxes, including one repurposed fruit crate.
