Lot 300: A Collection of Vintage British Rock Vinyl LP Records Including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd
An assortment of vintage 12-inch vinyl LP records featuring iconic British rock groups from the 1960s. The collection includes:
The Beatles – Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, a UK pressing on the Parlophone label featuring the iconic gatefold collage sleeve.
The Beatles – With the Beatles, a mono pressing on the Parlophone label featuring high-contrast cover photography.
The Rolling Stones – The Rolling Stones (self-titled), a mono pressing on the Decca label, bearing catalogue number LK 4661.
The Rolling Stones – Aftermath, a UK pressing on the Decca label.
Pink Floyd – Ummagumma, a double LP on the EMI/Harvest label. This example is an early UK pressing, distinguished by the inclusion of the Gigi soundtrack album cover within the sleeve artwork, which was later removed. The album is stored in a protective plastic sleeve with a dealer sticker noting 1st press and 1969.
Condition report:
The items are in vintage, used condition. Outer sleeves show visible wear consistent with age, including edge rubbing, corner bumping, and creasing. The With the Beatles sleeve has a significant split/tear along the top right edge. The vinyl records themselves have not been graded or inspected for surface marks, scratches, or playability.
