Lot 310: An Assortment of Domestic Ceramics, Glassware, Kitchenware, and Decorative Collectibles
This lot comprises an assortment of domestic household items, ceramics, and glassware. The collection includes a large brown glazed earthenware lidded casserole dish, a square-form white ceramic teapot featuring a gold-toned finial, gold line decoration, and a small floral transfer-printed motif. Also present is a white ceramic sauce boat with a gold-coloured rim, a small terracotta-coloured dish with decorative fretwork cutouts, and a ceramic mug. The glassware includes a large clear glass pitcher designed with an internal cylinder, several textured clear glass tumblers, and a clear glass bottle. Additional items include a copper-toned engraved decorative map plaque depicting the English Channel and parts of France, a media case for a children’s programme, and a small Heineken branded cardboard box.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition and show varying signs of wear consistent with age and use. The white ceramic teapot displays significant crazing to the glaze throughout. One white ceramic mug is heavily stained. The items are generally uncleaned as found.
