Lot 321: A Collection of Five Promotional Soft Toys and Figures including Compare the Meerkat and Confused.com
This lot comprises five promotional items originating from prominent United Kingdom advertising campaigns. The collection includes three soft plush toys manufactured for Yakov’s Toy Shop as part of the Compare the Meerkat promotion. These characters include Yakov wearing a maroon velvet-style smoking jacket, Sergei in a white lab coat with a striped tie and spectacles, and Oleg as BB-8 in a white and orange pilot-style outfit from the Meerkat Movies Star Wars series. Additionally, the lot contains two plastic robot figures from Confused.com: Miss Herbert, featuring brown hair and a pink skirt, and Stunt Herbert, which features a printed adhesive bandage detail. Both robot figures are designed with a pull-back-and-go motor mechanism and a bobbly head. The plush toys are made of fabric and plush materials, while the robots are constructed from plastic. All items are housed in their original illustrated cardboard boxes or window display packaging.
Condition report:
The items are in unused condition and remain in their original packaging. The meerkat plush toys are further protected by outer plastic bags. One box retains a lot sticker and a detailed barcode label. The packaging for the robot figures shows minimal signs of shelf wear.
