Lot 337: A Collection of Luminarc and Mixed Glassware, a Saucepan, and an Assortment of DVDs
A collection of utility and decorative glassware along with cookware and media. The glassware includes a large beer stein with vertical facets and a selection of stemware such as wine and water glasses. Several pieces feature molded diamond point and vertical fluted patterns in the style of traditional cut crystal. The glassware is identified as mass-produced pressed soda-lime glass, with at least one piece bearing the embossed maker mark for Luminarc, France on the base. Also included is a heavy-gauge metal saucepan with a riveted wooden handle. The media component consists of an assortment of commercial DVDs including titles such as The West Wing Seventh Season, The Holiday, Stand By Me, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and The NeverEnding Story. Several promotional discs issued by UK newspapers, including The Daily Telegraph, are also present. All discs are UK Region 2 PAL format.
Condition report:
The items are in a used, as-found condition. The glassware is dusty and requires cleaning. No major chips or cracks are immediately visible on the glass pieces, though minor shelf wear may be present. The metal saucepan shows signs of use. DVD cases exhibit general shelf wear and some adhesive residue from price stickers. Discs have not been individually inspected for scratches or tested for playback.
