Lot 380: A Decorative Figurine of a Young Boy Leaning Against a Tree Stump
A decorative figurine in the continental style depicting a young boy in rustic attire leaning against a tree stump. The barefoot character is shown wearing tattered clothing and a wide-brimmed straw hat while carrying a bunch of flowers. The piece is constructed from cold-cast composite resin or bisque material with a matte, hand-painted finish, mounted upon a circular stepped wooden base with a polished finish. An incised, illegible signature is present on the upper surface of the figurine base, and a handwritten cursive character, appearing as a W or M, is marked in ink on the underside of the wooden base.
Condition report:
The item appears to be in good overall condition. There are no obvious chips, cracks, or visible signs of repair. The painted finish remains intact with no significant wear.
