Lot 382: Two Vintage Sparklets Barware Items comprising a Soda Syphon and Boxed Corkmaster
A pair of vintage barware items manufactured by the British company Sparklets. The first item is a soda syphon featuring a polished chrome-plated metal body with horizontal decorative banding near the base. The syphon is fitted with a black plastic or Bakelite head assembly and lever mechanism. The second item is a Sparklets Corkmaster, a pressure-driven wine cork extractor constructed from polished metal with black rubber grip rings and a steel needle. The Corkmaster is housed in its original red fitted cardboard box with gold-tone cursive branding. Included in the lot is a printed guarantee slip for the Corkmaster and a modern printed instruction sheet for the use of Sparklets soda syphons.
Condition report:
The soda syphon is in good vintage condition with surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age and use. The Corkmaster tool appears well-preserved and in good condition. The original cardboard box for the Corkmaster shows significant wear, including scuffing, edge tears, and general aging.
