Lot 395: A Hudson solid wood soprano ukulele with hard-shell case and accessories
A Hudson soprano ukulele constructed with a solid wood body and featuring a dark-grained fingerboard and bridge. The soundhole is decorated with an inlaid abalone-style rosette. The headstock displays the maker name in gold-coloured script and is fitted with four open-geared tuners with reddish-brown buttons. A maker label is visible to the interior through the soundhole. The lot is presented in a black, plush-lined hard-shell carrying case with a black nylon shoulder strap. Included is a pack of Aquila Corde Armoniche New Nylgut strings, specifically for regular soprano tuning.
Condition report:
The instrument is in good, used condition. A handwritten paper note is attached to the front of the body with black adhesive tape, which may leave a residue upon removal. The instrument has not been tested for structural integrity under string tension or intonation.
