Lot 574: A Mid-Century Cranberry Art Glass Star-Shaped Centrepiece Bowl in the Style of Murano
An art glass bowl or centrepiece crafted in a vibrant cranberry pink hue. The piece is shaped into a stylised six-pointed star or sunburst form, featuring thick, rounded points radiating from a deep central well. The glass is translucent with a consistent rose-pink colour throughout. It appears to be hand-formed with fire-polished edges, characteristic of decorative glassware from the mid-20th century. No maker’s marks, etched signatures, or labels are visible on the surface or base of the object. The design and material are consistent with Italian glass production from the Murano region or similar North American glassworks such as Chalet.
