Lot 618: A Collection of English Bone China Teaware and Decorative Items
A collection of English bone china comprising two distinct groups of decorative ceramics. The first group consists of a teacup with a fluted body and two graduated saucers with scalloped rims, decorated with a transfer-printed pattern featuring a prominent turquoise flower surrounded by delicate brown and gold-coloured floral sprays. All pieces feature gilded rims. This set is possibly by Royal Wilton, as suggested by the pattern. The base of the teacup bears a brown backstamp with a crown symbol above the word ENGLAND and BONE CHINA, with a handwritten pattern number 1093 in gold pigment. The second group comprises three small tapering beakers and three small circular dishes, featuring a transfer-printed white rose pattern with a pink centre and grey-brown foliage. These items also feature gilded rims and are identified by auction lot tag 618.
