Lot 622: A Collection of Silver Bullion, Coins, and Banknotes in a Two-Compartment Wooden Box
This lot comprises an assortment of bullion, numismatic items, and paper currency housed in a two-compartment wooden box. The primary silver item is a minted rectangular bar by the private refiner SilverTowne L.P., which is clearly marked ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER and features the company prospector and donkey logo. This bar is contained within a protective plastic capsule. Also included are two additional silver-coloured pieces: one hand-poured or cast irregular bar and one long slender rectangular bar. Neither of these items bears visible weight or purity markings. The lot further contains a Turkish 500,000 Lira banknote and several loose coins, including UK decimal and pre-decimal issues such as pennies. Numismatic reproduction cards from Westair Reproductions Ltd of Birmingham are present, providing information on historical coin replicas. The wooden box features two interior compartments and a red-lined inner lid.
