Lot 774: A mid-to-late 20th-century mahogany-veneered extending dining table together with a set of six matching chairs
This mid-to-late 20th-century dining suite comprises an extending dining table and a set of six matching chairs. The table features a rectangular top with rounded corners, finished in a book-matched mahogany veneer exhibiting a cathedral grain pattern. It is supported by four square-tapered legs. A central seam in the tabletop indicates it accommodates at least one extension leaf.
The set of six chairs includes four side chairs and two carver chairs with curved armrests. Each chair features a curved slat-back design and an upholstered seat pad covered in a textured brown and cream woven fabric.
Visible markings include white lot stickers from Liskeard Auction Rooms numbered 774 on the table and one chair, and a small pink circular sticker numbered 22 on one chair back. No manufacturer marks or labels are present.
