Buyer's Premium:

A framed armorial document and genealogical history for the surname Killip. The document features a central achievement with a shield argent depicting a stag head erased, supported by two rampant lions. The shield is surmounted by a helmet with a crest and decorative red and white mantling. Additional heraldic elements include the Scottish thistle and a saltire. The printed text provides an account of the name origins, tracing it to the ancient Dalriadan clans of the west coast of Scotland, with references to various historical variants and clan associations including the Keppoch MacDonnells. The print is presented in a dark wood-effect frame with a gilded inner bevel. A gold foil-embossed seal with an attached red ribbon is located in the lower right corner, characteristic of commercial genealogical research providers. A white auction lot sticker for HCP Auctions is adhered to the top right corner of the outer protective plastic.
