Lot 147: A Trio of Cast Garden Ornaments Including a Hose Holder, a "Please Keep Off The Grass" Sign, and a Pig Group
This lot comprises three decorative garden items of cast construction. The first is a wall-mounted garden hose holder or planter, manufactured from cast iron and finished in green paint. The design features a decorative backplate with openwork scrolls, a fleur-de-lis finial, and a semi-circular basin. The second item is a cast iron garden sign with raised, gold-painted lettering that reads PLEASE KEEP OFF THE GRASS, set against a green ground with two integral ground spikes. The final item is a figural group of three pigs, cast in metal with an intentionally weathered, rust-effect patina. No maker’s marks are visible on the pieces.
