Lot 229: A Trio of Synthetic Aquarium Ornaments Including a Two-Part Shipwreck
A trio of synthetic aquarium ornaments, comprising a two-part shipwreck and a decorative aquatic plant. The shipwreck components are designed to resemble a modern naval vessel, possibly a frigate or battleship, split into two sections. Each section is constructed from resin and finished with a heavily textured surface of simulated marine growth in various colours including teal, green, pink, and red. The vessel features multiple swim-through apertures for fish and a detailed superstructure with simulated gun turrets. The accompanying synthetic plant features long, lancet-shaped leaves in a burgundy hue with yellow tips, secured to a weighted base with a pebble-effect finish. These items are contemporary ornaments intended for use in freshwater or marine aquaria.
