Lot 361: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics, Glassware, and Miscellaneous Objects
An assortment of various decorative items including ceramics, glassware, and metalware presented in a cardboard lot box. Ceramic objects feature a large, brightly glazed earthenware rooster figurine in a folk-art style, a hand-painted earthenware vase decorated with sunflower motifs and a black strap handle, and a ceramic piggy bank with a vibrant multicoloured drip-glaze. The collection also includes a seated character figurine of a man smoking a pipe, a circular porcelain box with a transfer-printed pastoral scene on the lid, and a small thatched cottage ornament. Glassware consists of an opaque light blue moulded glass vase and a clear pressed-glass bowl with a faceted design. Other notable items comprise a silver-toned metal base, possibly a candlestick, with a turned wood handle, a white textured figurine holding a glass receptacle, and a small boxed textile bow. A label for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 361, is present on the side of the box. No maker marks were clearly discernible from the visual inspection.
