Lot 413: An Assortment of Decorative Bird Figurines including The Leonardo Collection
This group features several bird species depicted in various styles and materials, including painted bisque porcelain and cold-cast resin. The assortment includes a desk clock featuring two blue tits on ivy-covered branches with Roman numerals to the dial. A further blue tit figurine is shown with outstretched wings among red berries, mounted on a circular wooden plinth. Also included are a goldfinch on a naturalistic tree stump, a brightly coloured painted bunting on a floral mound, and two distinct figurines of white dove pairs on rocky bases. One piece features a circular gold label identifying it as part of The Leonardo Collection Nature Studies, dated 1991, accompanied by a gold foil sticker reading FOREIGN. A white dove figurine is hand-marked S.a to the underside.
