Lot 424: Two Vintage Cameras comprising a Polaroid Swinger Model 20 and a Fujica Single-8 P300 with Cases
This lot consists of two mid-20th-century cameras with their respective carrying cases. The first item is a Polaroid Swinger Model 20 Land Camera, an instant film camera constructed from white moulded plastic with a black textured front faceplate. The faceplate features the inscriptions Polaroid, Land Camera, and Swinger Model 20 in red and white. This export model includes the Italian phrase Distanza Solo Per Lampeggiatore on the front. It is equipped with a top-mounted viewfinder, a red shutter control knob, and distance pictograms. It includes its original black faux-leather shoulder bag with silver-toned Polaroid lettering. The second item is a Fujica Single-8 P300 motion picture camera designed for Fujifilms Single-8 cartridge format. The camera features a black textured body with a pistol-grip handle and a Fujinon zoom lens with manual controls marked T and W. The side of the camera carries a Fujica Single-8 P300 label and a yellow JCI I 02 PASSED JMDC quality control sticker. A manual focus dial is present on the side with scales in both metres and feet. This camera is accompanied by a black soft-shell zippered case with red stitching and a wrist strap.
