Lot 426: A Collection of Vintage Cameras and Carrying Cases
A collection of mid-to-late 20th century consumer cameras and associated photographic equipment. The assortment includes a Minolta Memory Maker 35mm point-and-shoot camera, featuring a Focus Free lens, DX Auto film speed sensing, and a distinctive red shutter button. This unit is accompanied by a black soft vinyl case. Also present is a Kodak Instamatic 133 camera designed for 126 cartridge film, with a black and silver-tone faceplate marked Kodak and Made in Germany. The group contains a vertical folding bellows camera, resembling a Kodak Tourist or similar medium format model, with a metal body finished in black leatherette and housed in a fitted brown leather upright case. Two snapshot-style cameras are included, characterised by two-tone light grey and black plastic or bakelite bodies, common to mid-century British budget photography.
