Lot 539: A Vintage Brass Spirit Kettle and an Assortment of Costume Jewellery
A vintage brass spirit kettle together with an assortment of costume jewellery. The spirit kettle is constructed with a brass body and spout and features a brass swing handle. The handle grip is made of white ceramic and is decorated with hand-painted blue marks in the form of a crossed X with a vertical centre line, resembling a floral or asterisk motif. The kettle is lacking its stand and carries an auction tag from HCP Auctions South West for Lot 539. The jewellery collection primarily consists of multiple strands of simulated pearl necklaces of varying lengths and bead sizes, in colours ranging from cream to pale pink. Some strands feature decorative white-metal clasps, including some set with colourless paste stones. The lot also includes a lady’s vintage-style wristwatch with a rectangular gold-tone metal case, a white dial with black Arabic numerals, and a brown leather-effect strap, and a thin white-metal bangle.
