Lot 682: A Stag Minstrel Mahogany Bedside Table
A mid-century modern bedside table from the Minstrel range by Stag, a design originally introduced in the 1960s by John and Sylvia Reid. The piece is constructed from mahogany with mahogany veneers and a dark-stained finish. It features a rectangular top with bevelled edges over a single frieze drawer. The drawer is fitted with a distinctive circular brass-toned ring pull handle. The table stands on four tapered square-section legs, which are joined by aprons that feature a signature curved cut-out detail on the side panels. A modern auction lot label marked Lot 682 and a pink circular sticker marked 24 are present on the surfaces. No original manufacturer’s marks are visible.
