Lot 696: Two Framed Items Comprising a Gran Torino Film Poster and a Signed Landscape Drawing
This lot consists of two framed items. The first is a black and white promotional teaser poster for the 2008 film Gran Torino, starring and directed by Clint Eastwood. The image depicts Eastwood standing in front of the titular vehicle and bears the text CLINT EASTWOOD, GRAN TORINO, and COMING SOON. The poster is mounted on a black backing board and protected by glass held with metal clips. The second item is an original landscape drawing, likely executed in pastel or chalk on paper. The impressionistic scene depicts a row of tall, slender trees, possibly poplars, set within a field under a pale sky. The artwork is signed with the initials A.E.B. in the lower right corner. It is housed in a dark-stained wooden frame with a gold-toned inner fillet.
