Lot 753: A Traditional Hardwood Armchair in the Spanish Revival Style
A single armchair constructed from dark-stained hardwood with a polished finish. The frame features substantial, wide armrests with horizontally scrolled terminals, supported by decorative turned spindles. The lower frame includes a carved apron and sturdy block-style feet. The chair is upholstered in a light beige fabric decorated with a repeating embroidered leaf motif. The design is characterised by a low-seated, angled backrest typical of a lounge or fireside chair. Small rectangular white labels are present on the right arm with the handwritten characters 753 and S66. No manufacturer markings or stamps are visible on the exposed wood or upholstery.
