Lot 776: Edwardian Mahogany and Inlaid Wind-out Dining Table
An Edwardian mahogany and inlaid wind-out dining table in the Sheraton Revival style. The table features a rectangular top with canted corners and a moulded edge, decorated with a fine boxwood string-inlay border. The top is constructed with figured mahogany veneers and features a central split to accommodate extension via a mechanical wind-out system. The piece is supported by four tapered square legs, each detailed with matching string inlay and terminating in brass and ceramic casters. A handwritten tag identifies the item as an Edwardian inlaid wind-out dining table and indicates the inclusion of one additional leaf.
