Buyer's Premium:

A low-profile sideboard or modular display unit finished in a straight-grained mahogany veneer, possibly Sapele, featuring a characteristic vertical ribbon grain. The piece is constructed as a single main cabinet unit with a matching separate top board. The front configuration features two flanking cupboard doors, each fitted with a single pane of glass and a horizontal wooden glazing bar. The central section contains an open compartment divided by two vertical partitions, situated above a small central drawer. The doors and drawer are fitted with original silver-toned circular metal pull knobs. This piece is typical of British mass-market furniture design from the 1960s or 1970s. Visible markings include a white rectangular sticker with handwritten green characters reading LL99 on the lower corner of the main unit and a small white sticker with printed characters 825 on the separate board. No manufacturer’s stamps or maker’s marks are present.
