Lot 907: A Collection of Framed Artworks including 'You Forgot To Leave Me' by William Vanscoy
An assortment of framed artworks including a stretched canvas work titled ‘You Forgot To Leave Me’ by William Vanscoy. The collection features a prominent large-scale landscape photograph depicting a serene water scene with vertical reeds in the foreground and distant mountains, rendered in a cool blue and silver colour palette. This photograph is mounted in a wide, modern, brushed silver-toned frame with a deep profile and a contrasting white inner slip. Stacked behind this primary piece are several other works, including the aforementioned stretched canvas by William Vanscoy and various landscapes in traditional gold-toned frames. A small adhesive label with the handwritten characters ‘7623’ and ‘9.00’ is affixed to the left side of the silver-toned frame.
