Lot 912: Mid-Century Modern Teak Veneered Wall Mounted Shelf in the Style of G-Plan
A mid-century modern wall-mounted shelf unit featuring teak veneer over a composite core. The construction consists of a long horizontal shelf and a corresponding back panel, divided by two teardrop-shaped vertical supports. The unit is finished at the left with a curved end panel and at the right with a larger, shaped L-profile end piece. Pre-drilled holes are located in the back panel for mounting purposes. The design is reminiscent of British mid-twentieth century manufacturers such as G-Plan or McIntosh, although no permanent maker marks or stamps are present. A modern white adhesive label with handwritten digits is fixed to one of the internal dividers.
