Lot 1148: An Assortment of Mixed Household Goods including Kitchenware, Childrens Toys, and Glassware
A mid-century modern side table, typical of British furniture manufacturing from the 1960s or 1970s. The piece features a square top decorated with a parquet veneer in a herringbone geometric pattern, enclosed within a rectangular border. The table is constructed with a solid wooden frame comprising four straight, square-section legs united by a low-level perimeter stretcher. The surface displays a teak-coloured finish. This small-scale table may have originally formed part of a larger nest of tables. Present on the top are two modern auction labels, including one for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 1151, and a handwritten label numbered 5766. No original maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the surfaces shown.
