Lot 1167: Kerris, Padstow Harbour, a Signed Colour Print
A group of four framed artworks comprising watercolours and offset lithographic prints. The collection includes a street scene executed in a loose watercolour style, signed Burley in the lower right corner. This piece is mounted in a gilt-finished frame. Also included is a large monochromatic blue-toned work depicting a river scene with a large historic building resembling Windsor Castle in the distance, housed in a wide gilt frame. A third work is an aerial photographic or lithographic print of a coastal city with a prominent river estuary and high-rise architecture, presented in a dark wood frame with a gilt inner slip. The fourth work, partially visible in the background, is an atmospheric wash of colours, possibly depicting a floral subject, in a simple gilt frame. Auction lot tags numbered 9623 are adhered to several frames.
