Lot 1192: Panasonic LCD television with oval pedestal stand
This large-scale sideboard is constructed from a dark-stained wood and is designed in the Renaissance Revival style, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The piece features a flat top surface with a low gallery rail to the rear. The upper tier consists of four drawer fronts, each fitted with elaborate brass batwing-style backplates and bail handles. The central arrangement includes two smaller drawers over a pair of cupboard doors with arched panels. To either side are two larger cupboard doors, each featuring a central oval medallion with high-relief foliate and scrollwork carvings. The sideboard is supported by a heavy plinth base with carved bracket-style feet. Architectural mouldings and deep carvings are present throughout the facade. No manufacturer’s marks or labels are visible in the provided images.
