Lot 131: A Collection of Assorted Garden and Outdoor Maintenance Tools
An assortment of functional gardening and grounds maintenance implements. The collection includes a wide-bladed metal shovel with a blue plastic D-handle on a wooden shaft, a four-tine garden fork with a brown D-handle constructed of wood and metal on a wooden shaft, a Dutch hoe featuring a rectangular metal blade and a blue-painted socket, and a soft-bristle outdoor broom with a wooden head and a cream-coloured plastic socket. Each tool is mounted on a long wooden shaft. A contemporary white adhesive paper auction label is attached to the shafts of the shovel and fork, marked Lot 131. No manufacturer stamps or maker’s marks are visible on the metal heads or handles.
