Lot 397: A Collection of Books on West Country History and Isambard Kingdom Brunel (DJ)
A collection of mid-to-late 20th-century glassware and ceramic kitchenware. The lot includes a large clear pressed glass bowl in the Fantasia pattern, attributed to Princess House, characterised by a central starburst and floral motif. A small promotional glass bears the printed mark for Hollóháza, Hungary, alongside a manufacturer’s crest. The glass assortment further features two pieces of pink depression glass consisting of a scrolled foliate patterned plate and a plain circular platter, a cut glass decanter with a matching diamond-patterned stopper, a stemmed goblet with geometric facets, and a clear tumbler with an etched floral design. A single smoky charcoal-coloured glass bowl is also present. Ceramic items include a stack of white glazed oval gratin dishes, a light blue bowl with a nested white bowl, and two small circular brown earthenware-style pots with reddish-brown glazed rims, one of which retains a faceted clear lid.
