Buyer's Premium:

A pair of vintage bookshelf or wall-mount speakers manufactured in Japan by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. under the National Panasonic brand. The cabinets are constructed from a wood-effect laminate over a particleboard base with a fibreboard back panel. Each speaker features a decorative plastic lattice-work fretwork front grille over a black speaker cloth, characteristic of mid-century Japanese audio design. The reverse of each unit is fitted with a metal keyhole bracket for wall mounting and an integrated, hardwired speaker cable ending in a single-pin RCA-style plug. Printed markings on the back panels read NATIONAL PANASONIC, IMPEDANCE 8 Ohms, MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD., and MADE IN JAPAN, accompanied by a Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) mark. An ink stamp in the upper right corner of the rear panel identifies the model as RGA-101.
