Lot 533: A Pair of Pountney and Co Ltd Florian Pattern Blue and White Transferware Graduated Tureens with Underplates
This lot comprises an assortment of decorative objects, featuring a pair of porcelain figurines in 18th-century style dress, decorated in blue and white with gilded details. These are identified as musical figurines by an accompanying handwritten note. The collection includes a variety of Wade porcelain miniatures, including leaf-shaped Whimtrays with applied animal figures and several loose animal figurines such as a collie and a cat. Also present is a rectangular cast brass pen tray with ornate scrollwork and foliate borders, supported by four shaped feet. Further ceramic items consist of a lidded trinket box with floral and butterfly motifs, a songbird figurine on a branch, a fairy figurine, a small footed floral vase, and a miniature porcelain basket. No factory marks were observed during inspection.
