Lot 559: A Trio of Decorative Boxes including a Rosemaled Style Box and a Brass Bound Hardwood Box
A collection of assembled OO gauge model railway buildings, largely attributed to Superquick, constructed from printed card. The assortment features various structures including a blue-fronted Cartwright’s Newsagents shop and a yellow-fronted building marked Supermarket. Residential structures include two semi-detached houses with mock-Tudor gables and bay windows, alongside a larger terrace or inn-style building with multiple dormer windows and a gable marked with the date 1921. Scenery elements include several model trees of varying shapes and sizes, both coniferous and deciduous in style, together with a length of flexible green flock-covered hedging. The lot also includes two embroidered souvenir patches from the Embroidered Patch Recollections series, both featuring the South Devon Railway and GWR steam locomotives; one lists the stations Buckfastleigh, Staverton, and Totnes. The patches are contained within their original plastic packaging. The lot is accompanied by a handwritten tag numbered 67 and an auction tag for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 560.
