Lot 596: A Collection of British and United States Army Field Equipment and Insignia
Two Citizens Band (CB) radio transceivers, comprising one handheld unit and one mobile vehicle unit, both in original retail boxes.
The first unit is a Eurosonic ES 220 CB handheld FM transceiver. This model is designed for 40-channel operation on the UK CB 27/81 frequency standard. The box artwork depicts a two-digit red LED channel display, rotary controls for squelch and volume/power, and toggle switches for high/low tone and power. The unit is designed to operate on eight AA size batteries or via an external D.C. power jack. It is constructed with a black plastic cabinet.
The second unit is a tti TCB-771 mobile AM/FM CB transceiver manufactured by tti Tech Co., Ltd. This multi-standard unit features dual voltage capability and a Dynamic Squelch System (DSS). The control panel includes a blue backlit LCD display showing channel and signal information, alongside three rotary knobs for squelch, volume, and channel selection, and push-button controls for scan and emergency functions. The transceiver consists of a metal chassis with a plastic front fascia and includes a plug-in handheld microphone.
