Lot 617: A Collection of Five British Silver and White Metal Award Medals and Fobs
This lot consists of three items including a desk seal, a heart-shaped pendant, and a gemstone ring. The desk seal features a carved yellow-tone handle, possibly bone or an early synthetic material, with a silver mount and matrix decorated with ornate foliate scrollwork. The heart-shaped pendant is crafted from a darkened silver with a textured central panel and a decorative floral border; the reverse shows three metal tabs securing the front plate and several small marks which are present but not clearly legible. The ring is set with an oval, pale pink cabochon gemstone appearing to be rose quartz, in a simple bezel setting on a plain silver band.
