Lot 699: A Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Heart Pendant Necklace with a British Royal Commemorative Medal
A varied assortment of mineralogical and geological specimens presented in a repurposed vintage circular container. The group includes several pieces of amethyst showing distinct purple crystalline structures, including one larger specimen on a white quartz matrix. Also present is a notable piece of mookaite jasper featuring characteristic deep red inclusions within a cream-to-yellow matrix, a specimen of milky quartz with bright green mineral inclusions (possibly fuchsite), and a flat, tabular specimen of banded tiger iron or similar ferruginous jasper. The remainder of the collection consists of various rough geological samples, including iron-rich ores and metamorphic rock fragments. The specimens are housed in a vintage circular tin decorated with a continuous lithographed scene of historical figures and shopfronts. The exterior of the tin bears a contemporary white adhesive label for HCP Auctions South West, marked Lot 700.
