Lot 733: A Framed Horological Collage of a Harrier AV. 8B Jump Jet, Signed P. Ammon
A collection of motoring and motorcycling themed ephemera, primarily comprising postcards and larger decorative printed cards featuring nostalgic British automotive subjects. The lot includes reproductions of vintage advertisements such as a Triumph motorcycles advert titled The Best Motorcycle in the World, an Another Norton card for the Dominator De-Luxe, and a reproduction poster for the Brooklands 1000 Miles Race organised by the Junior Car Club. Also present are several larger landscape cards depicting mid-20th-century British scenes, including the Bridge Garage with a Shell petrol station and various classic motorcycles and sports cars, including a Jaguar XK series. Several of these larger cards are marked with the Rothbury Cards logo, consisting of the letters RC within a red triangle. The Triumph card includes text for Kingswood, Bristol. These items are contemporary nostalgic reproductions printed on cardstock with vibrant colour reproduction.
